RENDERINGS - So you've got your product or build details worked out but you need a rendering to visualize the dream? IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS! - A lot of detail goes into my design renderings. The past few projects I've started using SolidWorks to model details such as wheels, brakes, exhaust tips, and a few other details. It's faster and easier to build a lot of these exterior details in 3D CAD and apply finishes or textures and render it than it is to render by hand. This also allows me to offer changes and varitions to the client quickly and with richer details. Shown below I have a forged wheel that I built in 3D CAD showing different finishes to the wheel lip, spokes, lugs, and brakes.

Here's a close up on some details in the rear view of a custom Pantera rendering. 3D CAD was used to create the custom rear spoiler supports, one of four rear custom exhaust options, and the center grill work detailing.
Not into the shiny stuff? No problem! I can get down and dirty with some surface rust and patina effects and a satin paint scheme.
